Sisoft Sandra also claims the performance is significantly greater in a clock for clock comparison with the Phenom IIs and the previous generation. The new 940 and 920 CPUs aren't far behind despite the memory controller frequency drop - both are about 15 percent faster than the previous generation here.

The latency is ever so slightly improved according to Sisoft Sandra, and it's mostly better than the DDR2 Intel solutions as well.
